Insight Analysis

Insight Analysis represents a development of Crystal's current Insights capabilities.

While Automated Insights show what happened in your data, Insight Analysis delves deeper into the why and how by uncovering key stats that may have not been accessible otherwise.

You can request a detailed statistical analysis on Automated Insights, along with a specific topic. This will help you understand which factors, such as entities and their values, had the major influence in creating the Automated Insight you're interested in.

This in-depth exploration helps you capitalize on your business intelligence and make more informed, data-driven decisions.

Request an Insight Analysis

To access the Insight Analysis feature, type a question in the input bar or pick one of the available suggestions.

The Insights panel will appear.

In the top-right corner of the Insight card, click on the Analyze icon as shown in the image below:

After that, Crystal will start processing your analysis. This may take several minutes, depending on the amount of data that needs to be processed:

Display an Insight Analysis

Once your analysis is complete, you'll receive a notification.

Open the Notifications panel and click on Analyzed insight.

Your Insight Analysis will be displayed on the screen, together with the corresponding Topic:

This feature is currently in development.

Right now, Insight Analysis can be requested for all Topics except Overtime, and it's only available for the Top Contributor, Average and Variability and Extreme Values Insights.

More insights will gradually be supported in the future!
