Why can’t I log in to Crystal?

Logging into crystal is really as simple as it looks, but you’ve got to follow the right path.

First-time login

To log in for the first time into crystal:

• Open the crystal invitation you received via email: you will find the link to open the project domain (e.g. example.crystal.ai) and the email address you will use to access.

• Click on Go to Console.

• You will be asked to create a password. Make sure you save it: you will need this password to access the project.

• Go to your domain (e.g. example.crystal.ai) and log in with your email and the password you just created.

Regular login

As of now, the only way to log into a crystal project is to go directly to the project environment by accessing the project domain (e.g. example.crystal.ai) with your email and the password you created upon first login.

You’ve already tried direct login and it didn’t work? Let’s see what could have happened.

First of all, make sure that the email address and the password you used to log in are correct. Notice that both fields are case sensitive and you should type them in exactly the same way as they were when you created your own user profile in crystal (or when your admin created it for you).

Remember that there are two separate passwords to be aware of: there is a password for owners only, specifically created to log into the Project Management Area (where they will be able to manage aspects of the subscription), and then there is a separate password which each user is asked to create to log in to a single crystal project.

To retrieve this password, check the spam inbox as well in case the email landed in there.

If you have forgotten your password, you can always create a new one by following the forgot password flow. Once logged in, you will be able to change it to something of your choice.
