Alerts are useful for being constantly updated on your data variations and you can decide to get notified when an anomaly occurs or when a specific event happens. For example, you can decide to receive an alert when crystal detects something unusual or unexpected in your international sales data or you can ask crystal to send you a notification every time that your total sales go under a certain threshold.
